Manually–Curated 28
I troll through the internet’s secondhand chaos for deals so you don’t have to. Buy this stuff so I don’t go broke.
Here’s how it works: nearly every week I’ll post a refreshed list of scores I’d personally recommend to friends… or buy myself, if I had less restraint. Prices are for real-world budgets, the sellers are strangers, and the thrill of the find is all yours to claim. If you’re quick enough.
I don’t know these sellers. I just like their wares. Please check the condition of the items, description, and measurements carefully for yourself beyond just simply price and brand name to ensure fit.
Paid subscribers will get access to items as I find them via the subscriber chat + my brand lists, full archive, guides, and more—for $5/month, $55/year, or with a free 7-day trial. This week’s list is completely free to view.
Good luck and move quick. Someone else might grab it first.
Polo Ralph Lauren Pleated Chinos 30x32 $35
’Lil pre-worn love never hurt anybody, it’s just a little heel fray. The go-with-everything that everyone is on one about this year. Here’s a chance to pick up a pair for less.
Vintage M47 Cargo Pants 33x31 $120
Yea, these are killer. I’d buy them if they were an inch or two smaller to take in for myself. Half the price of other new military repro pants from a slew of other brands, and they are unique(not as US standard military pant). I love the white underside of the back flaps and ankle buttons. Details mattered then and they still do now, don’t be fooled.
J. Crew Oarsman Anorak Jacket sz M $75
My friend Jay recently put me onto these, which they re-released last summer(?) and quickly ran out of, so i’m sourcing a two-tone one for him. So if you know of a two tone colorway in an XL or XXL slide in my dms to be rewarded handsomely. In the meantime, this olive colorway will pair well with most things, jfc just look at it it…it’s good good (contrast stitching). I know nobody wants to think about summer being over, but now is the time to start shifting your buying focus towards layers, not when you need it in two months. Trust me.
Paraboot Barth Shoes US9.5/UK8.5 $10.50(auction)
These an excellent summer shoe and you’ll no doubt get a bargain, it’s just a question of how much. Paraboot lists in UK sizing, so +1 to get your US size.
Related: a friend of a friend in the menswear community here is battling cancer, and has a bunch of stuff listed with this listing’s eBay account (view all the supporting listings)/folks are fundraising to help support him financially during this challenging moment. Take a look and let’s run these prices up. You can read more here.
Vintage Calvin Klein Contrast Stitched Hat $13
I am sad to let this go, but I just bought three hats at Brimfield, so I cannot at this time. Olive green + contrast stitching…i’m weak in the knees. The logo is subtle, but you could also throw a vintage patch over it and make it your own like I was planning to. Your welcome.
J. Crew Oarsman Lambswool Rollneck Sweater sz L $50
If you were here last winter, you’d know I have this exact sweater and wear it constantly. It’s one of, if not my most versatile winter layers because of the neutral-but-warm color and visually interesting neck/texture. Mine is cotton and pretty warm, this one is lambswool- it will be toasty…do I need to explain that?
adidas SL72 Shoes US9 $60
These are listed as mens, however they are the women’s version. The men’s has a red stripe on the sole and no duotone blue striping on the upper. Size chart gives a women’s 10 as a men’s 9. I have a pair in a women’s 11 and I wear a men’s 10 in adidas.
Vintage Jesse Owens Games Running Shirt sz M $25
Rather cool retro tee in a fun yellow color that is sure to only get better as it fades. It looks in excellent condition to boot. Easy pair with olive, light wash denim, or fun shorts.
Vintage Long Beach Parks & Rec Trucker Hat $13
If you have ties to Long Beach, wonderful. If you don’t- still great. Navy pairs with most everything, and +points for it being a sewn on patch that one day you can put onto something else. I like the shell a lot, as I have an affinity for the vintage Shell logo patch when i’m at vintage markets.
